Welcome to Sunshine! Sunshine is the ideal vacation rental located across the street from one of 4 beach access boardwalks and just a few houses away from one of the 2 neighborhood swimming pools. Sunshine is pet friendly and so are the beaches in Morgantown so the entire family can vacation together!

The Space

This comfortable home has an open floor plan which features a comfortable living area where the Alabama sunlight shines through the double glass doors and large windows. The dining area is roomy, and you'll find a full kitchen well equipped to prepare simple meals should you choose to dine at home.

On the first level, you'll also find a king bedroom and a bunk bedroom with two, twin over full bunk beds plus a full bath.

Upstairs, there are three additional bedrooms, all with king beds. Two have balcony access and one has a private bath. There is also a full hall bath on this level.

While it's just steps to the beach, pool or tennis courts, you will enjoy spending time on the decks where you'll enjoy relaxing in Adirondack style chairs, rocking chairs and a table with seating for four. The ground level is equipped with an outdoor shower and a full-sized picnic table.

* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

We just finished a week at this rental and had an outstanding time together. There were 16 of us in all. The house is very conveniently located to both the pools and the beach. We also enjoyed pickleball, tennis, and riding our bikes through the neighborhood. Coastal View Vacations was a pleasure to deal with. I had a number of questions before we left, and they were very responsive in answering them. Could not recommend more highly.

Great House with Great Location

The house was great with plenty of room for the 8 adults and 6 kids in our family. The boardwalk to the beach is directly across the street which made getting to the beach so easy. The customer service was top notch as we had a late issue with our trip that was able to be resolved with ease. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a big house close to the beach.

The house was as described but could use a few less less objects on the tables. The kitchen was easy to cook in. One pool was not open our whole stay.

We had a wonderful experience at this property. Great location close to the beach access and pool and very clean. I have never stayed at a VRBO with so many kitchen supplies, there is plenty of everything from silverware to pots and pans. We had my whole family of 16 so that was a great asset to have as we cooked almost every night. Such a great friendly neighborhood. The property manager was very nice and came by to check on us several times. If you are looking for a beautiful and spacious place defiantly check this one out.

Great location clean and very close proximity to beach access. The house had most everything. If you’ve stayed in other houses in this subdivision you’ll be impressed by the amount of space and sleeping accommodations. You will need to make sure you pack salt, pepper and The basics. We had a great week.

The POA had been struggling for months and ended up draining and resurfacing it so it looks great now. There are actually two pools in the neighborhood. The second pool isn't visible from the road, it is located behind the tennis counts. We hope you'll plan a return visit soon.

Morgantown is beautiful and convenient to the beach, just steps away. It’s quiet and untouched and the sand is powdery!

The house is nice and kitchen well furnished with great water pressure. But the walls are super thin and the air conditioning does not work properly, especially on the main level. It never kept the 72 degrees even with all doors closed and you cannot turn the thermostat below that according to the sign.

One huge complaint I have is even though we rented for a week, we only got toilet paper and paper towels and garage bags for a few days. This doesn’t make sense and is super inconvenient and a little penny pinching. If I rent for 2 days vs 7, these supplies should also be increased.

We try to make clear what supplies guests need to bring and in our guest license agreement we specify “starter” supplies, which is customary in our area. The good news is, we have a new Dollar General just a few miles away so it is easy to stock up! Thanks so much for the feedback on the AC. We will have someone take a look at it. This home was the perfect size for our family of 9 adults and 1 child. It is beautifully decorated, close to both the beach and one of the pools, has a well-stocked kitchen, two barbeque grills, 3 decks and is spacious and clean. The only downside was the shower curtain in the master bath is moldy. We will certainly be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sunshine! We would have stayed longer if we could have. The property manager, DeeDee, stopped by to meet us the day after we arrived. She was very helpful, and you can tell she wants you to enjoy your stay! The house was in the perfect location. Just a couple minutes from both the beach and the pool. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows if you were to need them. It has everything you could need in a vacation rental. If I were to change anything, I'd hang some blinds or shades on some of the windows, but that won't stop us from visiting again. We will definitely stay with Relax on the Beach again! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
